Terms & Services

Last updated: 14 September 2026

These terms govern your use of securityopswire.com. The site is operated by Perki Solutions Private Limited (“we”, “us”), publisher of Security Ops Wire. Using the site means you accept them. If you do not, stop using the site.

1. What this site is

Security Ops Wire is a publication covering the security software market: vendors, categories, product shifts, and buying considerations. It is journalism and analysis.

It is not professional security advice, and we are not your consultant, auditor, or advisor. Nothing here is a recommendation for your specific environment, threat model, regulatory position, or risk appetite.

Security architecture decisions carry real consequences. Use our coverage to narrow a shortlist, then run your own evaluation against your own environment before you deploy anything. Any decision you make after reading this site is yours.

2. Accuracy and the shelf life of a verdict

We work to the standards set out in Our Editorial Standards. Even so, this market moves faster than any review cycle. Pricing changes, features ship and get deprecated, vendors get acquired, and category boundaries shift.

We make no warranty that content on this site is complete, current, or free from error. Confirm anything material with the vendor before you act on it. Found something wrong? Tell us at editorial@securityopswire.com.

3. Commercial content

Some content is sponsored or otherwise commercial, and is labelled as such. Labelled commercial content reflects the arrangement described on Advertise With Us and should be read accordingly. A commercial arrangement never changes editorial verdicts elsewhere on this site.

4. Third-party links and trademarks

We link extensively to vendor sites, documentation, and third-party research. We do not control those destinations and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, or practices.

Product names, logos, and trademarks referenced on this site belong to their respective owners. We use them for identification and commentary. Reference to a product implies no affiliation with or endorsement by its owner, and no endorsement by us beyond what an article says in terms.

5. Our content, and what you may do with it

All content on this site; text, structure, market maps, graphics, and category frameworks including the Four-Gate Review is owned by us or licensed to us, and protected by copyright.

You may: read it, quote short extracts with clear attribution and a link back, share links freely, and cite our work in your own research, reporting, or internal documents.

You may not: republish articles in full or substantial part, reproduce our market maps or comparison tables as your own, use our content in vendor marketing without written permission, or remove attribution.

On automated access and AI systems. Search engines, AI assistants, and answer engines may index and cite this site with attribution and a link to the source page, being quoted accurately with a link is the point of publishing. What is not permitted is bulk extraction, scraping at a rate that burdens our infrastructure, systematic reproduction of our work as a substitute for it, or inclusion of this site’s content in training datasets for machine learning models without written permission. We reserve all rights in respect of text and data mining, including under applicable copyright law.

By submitting material for publication you confirm it is your own original work, that you have the right to submit it, and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights. You keep ownership of what you write and grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide licence to publish, edit, archive, and distribute it here.

Unsolicited ideas sent to us are not held in confidence.

That includes loss of profit, loss of data, business interruption, procurement costs, and security incidents arising from decisions you made after reading anything here.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months, or USD 100.
