Three inboxes, so your message reaches the person who can act on it.
Security Ops Wire runs a small team. Sending to the right address is the difference between a reply in two days and a reply in two weeks.
Where to write
editorial@securityopswire.com Corrections and factual disputes. Article pitches and contributed pieces. Vendor briefings, product launches, and funding news you want on our radar. Requests to be considered for inclusion in a market map or category roundup.
partnerships@securityopswire.com Sponsored content, category sponsorship, brand placement, newsletter inventory, media kit requests, and anything with a budget attached.
contact@securityopswire.com Everything else: privacy and data requests, legal notices, takedown requests, image and licensing queries, site problems, and general questions.
Response times
Editorial and general enquiries: two to three business days. Commercial enquiries: two to three business days. Corrections: we acknowledge within one business day and act as fast as the verification allows.
If a message sits past a week, resend it. Nothing personal, security inboxes attract a great deal of automated mail.
Corrections
If something on this site is wrong, tell us specifically what and point us at the source. Version numbers, pricing tiers, feature availability, and acquisition status all move faster than our review cycle, and vendor documentation is frequently the last thing to be updated.
Send corrections to editorial@securityopswire.com with the article URL and the claim in question. What happens next is set out in Our Editorial Standards.
Two things we do not handle
Third-party vulnerability disclosure. We are a publication, not a CERT or a coordinating body. If you have found a flaw in a vendor’s product, report it through that vendor’s disclosure programme or a recognised coordinator. Do not send us exploit code, working proof-of-concept payloads, or unpublished vulnerability detail, we will not publish it and we do not want it sitting in an inbox.
Security issues with this website. Those we do want. Mail contact@securityopswire.com with the subject line SECURITY and enough detail to reproduce. We will acknowledge, fix, and credit you if you want the credit.
Vendor and PR teams
We are glad to hear from you, with two requests. Tell us which of our ten coverage areas your news belongs to, and lead with what changed rather than what was announced. Embargoed briefings are welcome; embargo terms need to be agreed before the material arrives, not asserted inside it.
Being briefed does not put a product into a roundup. Placement inside editorial coverage is an editorial decision. The commercial route is Advertise With Us, and it is clearly labelled when we use it.
